Lil Durk brings vibrant energy to Pittsburgh stage, collaborates on ‘All My Life’ with 20 elementary and high school students

Lil Durk brought an electrifying performance to the stage in Pittsburgh, where he was joined by 20 students from Faison and Westinghouse academies during his supporting act for Drake and J. Cole’s It’s All A Blur Tour at PPG Paints Arena. The collaboration, featuring a rendition of “All My Life,” was a spontaneous addition to Lil Durk’s set, arranged just a week before the event.

Dr. Kimberly Price, the Coordinator of Performing Arts for Pittsburgh Public Schools, recounted the efforts made by teachers and staff to facilitate this memorable experience for the students, spanning different age groups from high school to fifth and sixth grades. Despite sacrificing their weekend, the educators were dedicated to ensuring the students had a chance to shine.

Lil Durk’s interaction with the students left a lasting impression, as he generously distributed $100 bills and engaged in personal interactions, such as high-fives and fist bumps. Dr. Price emphasized his genuine warmth and support for the young performers, reflecting on the emotional impact it had on the students, some of whom were moved to tears.

Imani Clinton, one of the participating students, expressed how the experience inspired her to pursue her passion for dancing and singing, recognizing the potential for achieving greater accomplishments in the future.
