Although Wiz Khalifa has not yet engaged in a ‘Verzuz’ battle, he believes that facing Lil Wayne in the future would be ‘fun’

Though he hasn’t yet headlined a Verzuz fight, Wiz Khalifa believes facing Lil Wayne would be “fun.”

In a Shade 45 interview with Superstar Jay, Wiz was asked who would be entertaining to compete against in a Verzuz-style competition. “Wayne,” he answered. That seems like a lot of fun. Yes. Wayne performs pretty well, so it’s like, me and him going back and forth, like, belting out hits? That would be difficult. Additionally, we both use a ton of marijuana, so it seems more like a concert than a Verzuz to me.

Wiz has previously appeared as a guest at a Verzuz concert, supporting Juicy J at the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia Verzuz. In addition, Wayne made an appearance during the same concert and gave Juicy a guest verse.

Wiz said later in the conversation that he would be game to do one with Kid Cudi as well. He said, “He’s someone who is like me, you know, a multifaceted audience.” “He shares some of my classic core characteristics.”

Wiz made an appearance in the trailer for Timothy Scott Bogart’s upcoming film, Spinning Gold, earlier this month. The biographical drama will trace the rise and decline of Casablanca Records, the leading independent disco record company throughout the 1970s. In the movie, Khalifa plays George Clinton, while Jason Derulo plays Ron Isley from the Isley Brothers.
