Lil Durk expressed his desire to collaborate with Beyoncé after winning his first Grammy Award in his career

This past weekend marked a significant milestone for Lil Durk. Despite his longstanding and highly successful career in rap music, he continues to scale new heights. Last year, he achieved one of the biggest hits of his entire career with “All My Life,” a collaboration with J. Cole.

The song peaked at #2 on the Hоt 100, secured a spot on the year-end Hоt 100 chart, and amassed nearly 300 million streams on Spotify. And on Sunday, the track earned Durk his first-ever Grammy when it won for Best Melodic Rap Performance.

In a post-win interview with Billboard, Durk touched on various topics. One question posed to him was about his dream collaborator. Seemingly buoyed by his first Grammy win, he immediately thought of Beyoncé, the most decorated artist in Grammy history. “It’s a few, but I gotta go see Beyoncé one day. Got to. That means I’ll be back,” he quipped. While Beyoncé wasn’t nominated for any new Grammys this year, her four wins last year set a new record, bringing her total to 32, the most of all time.

Earlier today, Drake and J. Cole announced a major update about their joint “It’s All A Blur” tour. The first leg of the tour, which took place last year, featured Drake alongside 21 Sаvаge. However, for the tour’s 2024 dates, in addition to J. Cole, Lil Durk will also be gracing the stage.

During his Grammy interview, Durk also playfully hinted at another intriguing possibility. He joked about the idea of creating an entire collaborative album with country singer Morgan Wallen. The duo has already collaborated twice before, first on Wallen’s song “Broadway Girls” and then again on Durk’s track “Stand By Me.” What are your thoughts on Lil Durk naming Beyoncé as his dream collaborator?
