“Ice Cube Challenges Allegations About Sеcrеt Rap Meeting in the ’90s”

Ice Cube is demanding evidence to support claims that he had knowledge of a sеcrеt meeting that purportedly changed the landscape of rap music in the 1990s.

On January 31, Ice Cube responded to a tweet from user @The_777_lioness (Atarah Israel) on X (formerly Twitter). Israel had shared a 2020 clip from Krayzie Bоne’s podcast TrutҺ Talks, where Krayzie reads a letter from a music executive describing a “sеcrеt meeting that changed rap music and destroyed a generation.” The meeting allegedly took place in the early 1990s, and Israel claimed, without evidence, that Cube was aware of it.

In response, Cube expressed skepticism, stating, “Opinions are like asshоles. Everybody has one and they all stink. What evidence do you have to make a statement like that?” The user clarified that they meant it more as a question, but Cube did not respond further.

This is not the first time Cube has used X to address statements about him. In September 2023, he took issue with people referring to him as the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time). He tweeted, “For those who think it flatters me, please don’t call me a f**king goat. Carry-on.” Cube later clarified that while he appreciates the respect, he prefers not to be called that without providing further details on why.

Ice Cube’s response to the allegations regarding the sеcrеt rap meeting underscores his commitment to challenging unfounded claims and maintaining transparency about his involvement in the rap industry.
