In this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards, Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll, 21 Savage, and SZA emerge as the top nominees.
Taylor Swift takes the lead with an impressive nine nominations, including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, and Pop Artist of the Year.
Jelly Roll, 21 Savage, and SZA follow closely with eight nominations each, while Olivia Rodrigo is not far behind with seven nods.
In the Pop Artist of the Year category, all five nominees are women: Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, and Taylor Swift.
Conversely, male artists dominate the Hip-Hop Artist of the Year category, with nominations for 21 Savage, Drake, Future, Gunna, and Lil Durk.
The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards aim to celebrate the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app over the past year, providing a glimpse into the upcoming hits for this year.
Fans will have the opportunity to decide winners in various fan-voted categories, including Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, Best Fan Army, Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer, TikTok Bop of the Year, Favorite On Screen, Favorite Tour Style, and Favorite Debut Album.
This year introduces five new categories focusing on pop and K-pop: Pop Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, K-pop Artist of the Year, K-pop Song of the Year, and Best New Artist (K-pop).
Social voting commenced on Thursday and will close on March 25. Fans can cast their votes at iHeartRadio.com/awards.
The live broadcast of the awards show will take place from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 1, with a tape delay on FOX. The event will also be aired on iHeartRadio stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app.
