50 Cent Expresses Interest In Bringing BIG3 To Louisiana After Ice Cube’s Hall Of Fame Honor

He shared his interest through photos featuring himself and the league’s CEO and Founder, Ice Cube, sitting courtside at the Boston Celtics vs. Houston Rockets game. In an X post on Tuesday morning, 50 Cent captioned: “I had so much fun at the Boston/Rockets game man. I told @icecube I want to bring the big 3 to Shreveport, all roads lead to Shreveport it’s a go!”

Ice Cube and the BIG3 organization were recently honored by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fаme for their remarkable contributions to basketball. The Ice Cube Impact Award, named after the 54-year-old Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famer, was announced. Cube shared a video of the ceremony on Instagram in collaboration with BIG3.

“Ice Cube officially in the Hall Of Fаme,” declared Ice Cube and the BIG3 in the Instagram caption, accompanied by fire emojis.

Established in 2017, BIG3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league that allows former NBA and international players to continue playing professional basketball. With 12 current teams, the league was inspired by Ice Cube’s love for basketball and his participation in celebrity leagues during his rise to entertainment mogul status.

From X to Instagram, 50 Cent reiterated his desire to bring a BIG3 team to Shreveport. Fans of the mogul expressed excitement about the possibility, as his Instagram post received over 101,000 likes and 1,000 comments in less than an hour.

Last week, it was announced that 50 Cent, already a Hollywood success with his Power universe, plans to open a film and television studio in Shreveport, Louisiana, contributing to job creation and economic growth in the area.

During the Celtics/Rockets game, 50 Cent sported a hoodie showcasing the logos of every television/streaming network he has collaborated with as an executive producer. His liquor brand, Sire Spirits, is in a multi-year partnership with the Houston Rockets.
