Rick Ross Goes After Birdman And Toni Braxton Over Lil Wayne
Rick Ross and Birdman’s feud has just become a little spicier. Birdman reportedly placed his Miami mansion up as security for a $12 million loan that he has subsequently failed on, putting him in jeopardy of losing it. The co-founder of Cash Money bought the property for $14.5 million from record producer Scott Storch in 2015 after borrowing $12 million via an organization known as EMG Transfer Agent three years earlier.
Birdman also listed the house with nine bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms for $20 million, but after receiving no bids, he lowered the asking price to $16.9 million. Ross believes that Birdman’s nonpayment of the debt and the fact that he needed to borrow the money in the first place are related to karma.
The seasoned music executive has been accused for years of underpaying some of his singers, most notably Lil Wayne, who filed a $51 million lawsuit against him in 2015. Ross has frequently attacked Birdman for the claim, even releasing a diss song titled “Idols Become Rivals” against him. Then, on Monday, December 18, he sent Birdman a little message on social media. He wrote, “You took them guys’ pub and put a foreclosure Scott Storch demons in it, which is even more pоisоn.”
Ross then uploaded a video in which he further attacked the resident of New Orleans and added a few more jabs for good measure. In addition, he seemed to bring up the record executive’s connection to Toni Braxton, accusing him of utilizing her for financial gain.
