Wiz Khalifa says he’d go head-to-head with Lil Wayne and Kid Cudi in a ‘VERZUZ’ battle

When asked who he would like to perform with for “a fun VERZUZ,” Thomaz said, “I think that would be fun, Wayne.” Wayne is a really good performer, so it would be difficult for and me to go back and forth while belting out hits. We both smoke a lot of marijuana. That seems more like a concert than a VERZUZ, in my opinion. Thomaz mentioned Cudi as another potential rival, saying, “He’s someone who is like me… Our audience is diverse, and he also has some timeless, fundamental content, much like myself.

The seventh solo album by Thomaz as Wiz Khalifa, “Multiverse,” was made available through Taylor Gаng and Asylum back in July. Although it was released as the official follow-up to his 2018 album “Rolling Papers 2,” in the four years that had passed between them, the rapper had released several joint albums, EPs, and mixtapes.

The following year brought four EPs: “It’s Only WeeԀ Bro” in February, “The Saga Of Wiz Khalifa” in April, “3 Doobies” in July, and “Just A Regular Day in December” – along with the “Big Pimpin” mixtape. In 2019, he released the “2009” album with Curren$y and the mixtape “Fly Times, Vol.1: The Good Fly Young.” Thomaz had another busy year in 2021: in addition to the “Taylor Cinema” EP, he collaborated with DJ DaddyKat on the “#FUCC2020” mixtape, Sledgren and Cardo on the album “Wiz Got Wings,” and the entire Taylor Gаng on the “Taylor Nights” mixtape.

His 2022 endeavors included the albums “Stoner’s Night” with Juicy J and “Full Court Press” with Smoke DZA, Big K.R.I.T., and Girl Talk before the release of “Multiverse” in July. He released “G Rage,” a second mixtape with Taylor Gаng, in October after the album. Later in the new year, he plans to release a mixtape with PUFFINDANK that is presumably titled “Losin’ Weight.”  Thomaz also made history in 2019 by publishing the first-ever music on an Oreo cookie and remaining active in the TV world with frequent parts on Dickinson and Duncanville. In the upcoming film Spinning Gold, which centers on the ascent of Casablanca Records throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Thomaz plays George Clinton.
