Rick Ross Confirms He Put Lil Wayne & Pusha T On Same Song Despite Their Beef
Notwithstanding Pusha T and Lil Wayne’s ten-year feud, Rick Ross claims to have collaborated on a single.
Following online speculation about a potential partnership between rivals Pusha T and Lil Wayne on Rick Ross’s upcoming album, Ross officially confirmed the news on Friday during an interview with Hоt 97 radio in New York. According to Ricky Rozay, he essentially secretly recorded the two adversaries together on a record without their knowledge.
“What I truly did was compile the ‘Maybach Music 6.'” I sent the record to Weezy first, and he gave me his blessing. I submitted an updated version. I sent Push simply the instrumental. So what I did do was put together a record,” Ross told Hоt 97’s DJ Enuff.
Since 2006, Lil Wayne and Pusha T have been at odds, which has resulted in entire diss tracks, subliminal disses, and even a rivalry between Pusha and Wayne’s protégé, Drake. Significantly, the two of them are on the same record, and Rick Ross claimed to have brought the two renowned rappers together in the hopes that it would result in a reconciliation.
