Kid Cudi is gearing up for the release of his ninth studio album, “Insano,” scheduled for this Friday. Ahead of the release, he unveiled the album’s robust tracklist, boasting 23 songs.
Collaborations with notable artists include A$AP Rocky on “Wow,” Lil Yachty on “Too Damn High,” Lil Wayne on “Seven,” and Travis Scott on “Get Off Me” and “At the Party,” featuring Pharrell Williams, released in November.
Notably, the album features a collaboration with the late XXXTentacion on Track 15 titled “X & Cud,” while “Rager Boyz” includes Young Thug, who is currently facing RICO charges.
Among the solo tracks on “Insano” are titles like “Electrowavebaby,” “Cud Life,” “Mr Coola,” and “Hit the Streetz in My Nikes,” which serves as the album’s closing track. Fans can also anticipate the inclusion of the previously released single “Porsche Topless,” dropped in June.
Kid Cudi shared the exciting news with fans on social media, featuring the tracklist with song names presented in an 8-bit font over a vibrant paint splatter design.
Initially set for release in September, Cudi decided to push the date to January 2024, emphasizing his commitment to perfection. In his announcement, he stated, “I’m sorry for the delay everybody, but I’m a perfectionist. And things gotta be right.”
“Insano,” following Cudi’s 2022 LP “Entergalactic,” promises a diverse and star-studded musical experience. In addition to his music endeavors, Cudi collaborated with various artists and entities, including Scott, Skrillex, Lyrical Lemonade, and Lil Durk. Notably, his passion for Star Trek led to a collaboration with the iconic sci-fi franchise, resulting in the release of the song “Heaven’s Galaxy,” a Cudi-Trek merch line, and his inclusion as a playable character in Fortnite, dressed in full U.S.S. Enterprise regalia.
