Birdman Wants People to Know Lil Wayne Is Still His Son

Birdman and Lil Wayne’s long-running animosity may be about to end. On Monday morning, March 26, Stunna shared a picture of the two performers having a good time together at a club on his Instagram. “Me and My Son,” Williams wrote as a caption for the social media post. #YMCMBEAST.

The Like Father, Like Son rappers got back together earlier in March at Club LIV in Miami (March 11), after a video of them chatting and having a good time went viral. In recent months, the 49-year-old has appeared in public several times to promote his Cash Money documentary on Apple Music. During his February 20 appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, Birdman promised to collaborate with Weezy soon. “You’ll see Wayne and me working again at some point in our lives,” he remarked.

In an interview with Rap-Up, the CEO of Cash Money even declared that the eagerly awaited Tha Carter V would eventually be released this year. “This year, you’ll get that,” he declared confidently. All of this started in 2015 when Lil Wayne sued Birdman and Cash Money Records for $51 million. Due to multiple late payments and multiple delays in the delivery of his album, the New Orleans native demanded his freedom from the label.
