Travis Scott was spotted in New York on Friday, donned in a head-to-toe cozy athleisure ensemble.
During his outing in the city, the rapper opted for a pair of black moccasins. While somewhat concealed by the hem of Scott’s trousers, these footwear choices featured textural uppers complemented by coordinating black rubber soles.
Moccasin styles have gained popularity among celebrities, with figures like Selena Gomez, Emma Roberts, Cameron Diaz, Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, and even Kim Kardashian showcasing various iterations.
Historically, moccasins were crafted with flexibility in mind, often hand-sewn and made from deer skin. Consisting of three pieces of fabric wrapped around the foot from underneath, these heel-less and casual shoes served as distinctive identifiers among tribesmen.
Today, moccasins are available in lace-up, suede, and platform styles from brands such as Clarks, Velasca, Aurelien, Yuketen, EasyMoc, Yogi, and Visvim, among others.
Complementing his slip-on footwear, Scott sported an oversized white and black zip-up featuring sporty graphics in red, black, and white on the front. On the lower half, the “Goosebumps” rapper wore Balenciaga’s slouchy black oversized trousers. To complete his look, Scott carried a large black and white Hermes Birkin, adorned thin 90s-inspired sunglasses, diamond studs, and a Stüssy tan baseball cap featuring a prominent S graphic on the front.
