Audible marked the 50th anniversary of hip-hop with the release of a new title from the iconic rapper titled “Words + Music: From the Streets to the Suites.” In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE, Snoop Dogg reflects on his legacy and the joys of being a grandfather.

With six grandchildren and another one on the way, the 51-year-old father of three expresses the profound significance of his role as a grandparent. 

He affectionately shares anecdotes about each grandchild, highlighting their individuality and the unique connections he shares with them. From his oldest grandson, Zion, playfully declaring himself the biggest star in the family to his granddaughter, CC (Journey), expressing her admiration for him as she spots him in stores, Snoop Dogg cherishes these moments.

The rapper also draws parallels with his own relationship with his grandfather, emphasizing the importance of being a source of love and guidance for his grandchildren.
