Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” has been released, and fans are already dissecting the lyrics for the classic Nicki flair – the Barbie aesthetic, catchy beats, and, notably, the eyebrow-raising disses. The recipient of one such diss in this album is rapper Latto.

In a cryptic Instagram post last month, Nicki hinted at potential confrontations being addressed in the album, stating, “If you had the opportunity to apologize and didn’t take it, always remember: you had the opportunity of a lifetime.” 

Interestingly, Nicki has been known to initiate several of the feuds she’s had with fellow musicians over the years. Now, despite being the instigator, she appears to be seeking apologies. It remains to be seen how successful this quest for reconciliation will be for Nicki.

Throughout her career, the “Super Bass” rapper has faced challenges in maintaining positive relationships with other musicians, particularly female singers and rappers. She has been involved in conflicts with Cardi B, Remy Ma, Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, Lil Kim, Iggy Azalea, and Taylor Swift, to name a few.

In the fifth track of her latest album, titled “Fallin 4 U,” Nicki Minaj employs a clever play on words that could be interpreted as a reference to the rapper Latto. The album continues Nicki’s tradition of bold and unapologetic lyricism, keeping her fans engaged and eagerly anticipating her next move in the ongoing saga of rap feuds.
