Kid Cudi and Ice Cube are set to kick off the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2024 tour, slated to commence in California in February. The iconic alternative rock band, known for recently releasing two albums and headlining stadium tours, is opting for a change in direction with this upcoming tour, choosing smaller venues across North America.
Joining the roster of openers for the Red Hot Chili Peppers are A$AP Rocky, the Strokes, Beck, HAIM, and St. Vincent. Notably, the supporting artists may vary depending on the date of the performance. This diverse lineup promises an eclectic mix of musical styles to complement the Chili Peppers’ energetic and genre-defying sound.
Ice Cube, who previously shared the stage with the Chili Peppers in the Lollapalooza ’92 lineup, brings his unique style to the tour. The opening acts will rotate throughout the tour, ensuring that audiences in different locations will experience a dynamic array of musical talent.
The tour schedule includes stops in various cities, with highlights such as the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas on December 9th, the Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA, and the Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, CA, among others. The tour will conclude on July 30th at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO.
This collaborative effort promises an exciting musical journey for fans, as the Red Hot Chili Peppers venture into smaller venues, accompanied by an array of talented and diverse opening acts.
