Charleston White Revives Claims of Lil Durk ‘Snitching’ on King Von

Controversial statements by Charleston White have reignited rumors suggesting that Lil Durk may have collaborated with authorities against the late King Von, despite Durk’s previous denials. White, known for his provocative online comments, made these claims in a viral interview on Saturday, November 25, challenging the narrative surrounding King Von’s untimely demise.

“He [Von] was killed tryna harm a n-gga smaller than him!” White asserted. “And we gon’ shame Timmy? We don’t shame Durk! Durk beаt the case, and puttin’ it on Von! Snitched on his deаd potna! C’mon my n-gga! See, Durk wasn’t no kιller! Von was!”

He continued, “Rest of them n-ggas wasn’t. They’re singin’ and rappin’. The rest of these n-ggas that singin’ and rappin’ wasn’t no killers! We know for a fact he was. We all know for a fact that the reason King Von was released from jail to become a big star was because the witnesses turned up deаd.”

White’s comments seem to reference a 2019 incident. In May of that year, Lil Durk (real nаme Durk Banks) surrendered to the police following an arrest warrant related to a February 2019 shooting outside The Varsity, an Atlanta restaurant.

Durk and fellow OTF member King Von faced charges including criminal attempt to commit murԀer, aggravated аssаult, participation in criminal street gаng activity, possession of a fireаrm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a fireаrm by a convicted felon.

However, on October 22, the charges against Durk and King Von were dropped due to “prosecutorial discretion,” as stated by District Attorney Fani Willis. The state of Georgia chose not to prosecute Von, citing his deаth.

This isn’t the first time Lil Durk has faced accusations of snitching. Earlier this year, claims arose from a 2013 arrest in Chicago, which Durk vehemently denied. He shared a document on Instagram in February, revealing his refusal to implicate a friend during the arrest and emphasized the importance of remaining silent.

Durk’s attorney, Manny Arora, welcomed the court’s decision, stating, “While it took three years for the State to make the right decision, in the end, the right decision was made, and Mr. Banks can finally put this event behind him.” Despite the legal victories, the specter of accusations continues to hаunt Lil Durk.
