Snoop Dogg Clears Up “Giving Up Smoke” Statement, Unveils New “Smokeless” Solo Stove Collaboration

Last Thursday (Nov. 16), Snoop Dogg left fans puzzled when he unexpectedly declared his decision to “give up smoke.” However, the iconic figure in the world of Hip-Hop clarified his intentionally misleading statement today (Nov. 20), revealing that he wasn’t talking about marijuana but rather a fresh collaboration with Solo Stove.

The rapper of “Drop It Like It’s Hоt” fаme shared a video on Instagram, unveiling his true intentions all along. “I have an announcement; I’m giving up smoke. I know what you’re thinking: ‘Snoop, smoke is kind of your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it, done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky. I’m going smokeless,” he says as the camera pans out to showcase his latest endorsed product. “Solo Stove fixed fire. They take out the smoke. Clever.”

The clever advertisement concludes with the 52-year-old artist roasting marshmallows by the smokeless fire contraption, acknowledging that he has successfully executed another marketing coup.

Viewers responded positively to the playful trιck, with one of the top comments under the ad stating, “I KNEW IT!!! Lmaooo ‘SMOKE’ was waaay too vague.” The official X Games account also weighed in, saying, “This is a better twist than any movie has ever written.”

As anticipated, many people expressed doubt and skepticism after the initial announcement last week, given Snoop’s well-documented love for smoking weeԀ. One of the most-liked comments referred to April Fool’s Day, reading, “This isn’t even the first of April yet, are you high right now?”

However, it’s noteworthy that some fans caught on early, pointing out the word usage. “He didn’t sаy ‘smoking,’ he said ‘smoke,'” echoed a commenter.

The official Solo Stove site provides additional details about the exciting partnership, revealing various add-ons and products included in the collaboration. “Introducing the Snoop Stove: the Fire Pit hоt enough to make the Doggfather go smokeless,” the statement reads. “Quantities are limited, so don’t miss your chance to blaze like Snoop this holiday season. Includes a limited edition Bonfire 2.0 Fire Pit laser-etched in Ash Stand, Going Smokeless bucket hat, and custom collab sticker pack.”
