The very candid remarks of a female rapper often hailed as the “queen of rap.”
Nicki Minaj is one of the most successful female rappers of all time. However, in a recent interview, she shared that she does not want her son to become a rapper. She described her nearly 2-year-old as a “blessing.”
The female rapper candidly expressed, “Sometimes I come home and feel stressed for some reason. I look at my son and realize, ‘What are you angry about? Look at what God has blessed you with.
This is the supreme blessing of the universe. Nothing can be greater. Surely it is. You cannot think of a greater grace that the universe has bestowed upon us as human beings.”
In while Nicki describes her son as someone “who likes to express himself,” the show’s host questioned whether it would be fitting for the boy to become a rapper. The owner of Anaconda quickly responded:
“Becoming a rapper is a truly amazing experience. I still have a lot to learn to improve my skills. Rap also brings me many smiles. Although the kid is someone who likes to express himself, I won’t let my son rap. I don’t want him to pursue a musical path.”
In an Instagram livestream, Minaj expressed her thoughts that Lil Baby has been “extremely diligent” in his new song, and she added that she feels “refreshed to see people still interested in that type of content.”
“I think everyone knows Lil Baby is a very good person, but I will say he always surprises me,” the female rapper explained. “This collaboration will be a moment for many fans to realize that we have been in the Rap Game for a long time.”
