Kanye West has unveiled a new track from his collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign, featuring appearances by Lil Durk and Bump J. The song, titled “Vultures,” was premiered on Chicago radio station WPWX Power 92 on Friday, November 17. DJ Pharris, a longtime friend of Ye, played the track, marking the first complete preview of a song from their joint album since its announcement.
In the lyrics, Kanye addresses controversial topics, including a reference to his previous controversies involving anti-Semitic remarks. Despite the serious subject matter, he attempts to infuse humor into the song, making references to Jimmy Butler and his unconventional media-day appearance in 2022.
However, the track introduces new controversies, with Kanye rapping about being involved with Scooter Braun’s romantic life, the same Scooter Braun he publicly parted ways with in 2018.
The collaborative project between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign faced delays, with its release date and title still undisclosed. Ty Dolla $ign recently provided an update on the album, mentioning that he had been recording a portion of it with Kanye during his time in Saudi Arabia.
The LP, initially scheduled for a massive concert in Italy in October, faced cancellation after encountering complications. The duo is currently seeking a distribution company for their material. Despite the uncertainties surrounding the project, fans eagerly anticipate its eventual release.
