Cardi B made a striking appearance at the 2022 Met Gala, donning an ensemble by Atelier Versace. The event, themed “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 2, 2022.

In a surprising turn of events during the Memorial Day weekend, Cardi B shared shocking footage of a yacht sinking while on vacation with her husband, Offset. On May 28, the rapper provided a dramatic play-by-play account of the large boat slowly disappearing into the ocean, capturing the moment from a luxurious vacation spot with a breathtaking view of the blue sea.

Expressing disbelief, Cardi B captioned the Twitter video with, “I can’t believe I’m actually watching a yacht sink.” Throughout the 45-second clip, she can be heard screaming, exclaiming, “It’s sinking! Y’all see that? Oh my God, they can’t do nothing about it. There ain’t no big boat that can save it. It’s gone! Bye-bye.”

Fortunately, Cardi clarified on her Instagram Story that there were no people aboard the sinking yacht. The location of their vacation remains undisclosed, but additional clips on her Instagram account showcased friends enjoying themselves, dancing in sombreros, and preparing for a feast. Cardi also shared snapshots of herself lounging on a private jet en route to the tropical destination.

Offset commented on the probable cost of the yacht, stating, “That s–t’s crazy. Somebody owns that s–t, too…that’s a whole yacht, gone.” Cardi and Offset had witnessed the yacht just as it began to sink, sharing videos of it floating upright next to others minutes before its descent, inching closer to the rocks.
