Metallica breaks a new record for the number of spectators coming to the US: “More than 100,000 tickets have been sold”

Metallica has established a new attendance record at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday (November 3) and Sunday (November 5), with Pantera and Mammoth WVH on the first night, and Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills on the second.

Both of Metallica’s headline concerts drew in 100,000 people, marking the highest attendance ever recorded at this venue.

The musicians shared the following message on their social media platforms: “The #MetallicaFamily made history during the #M72STL. Over 100,000 tickets were sold for our No Repeat Weekend concerts at the Dome, setting the record for the most tickets sold for an event since the venue’s opening in 1995! Thank you for coming to see us, St. Louis!”

The M72 tour kicked off in late April in Amsterdam. A portion of the proceeds from the shows goes to Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which aims to provide assistance to communities that have supported the band throughout their career.
