“The Motto” by Drake and Lil Wayne Achieves Octuple Platinum Status

On October 25, three years after becoming sextuple Platinum, Drake and Lil Wayne’s song “The Motto” achieved octuple Platinum certification.

Since its initial release on November 29, 2011, the T-Minus-produced song from Drizzy’s second studio album, Take Care, has sold over 8,000,000 copies and been streamed over 8 million times, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
