Following years of friendship, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West first went out on a date in 2011. North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm are the four children that West and Kardashian welcomed together throughout their ten-year partnership, which saw them swiftly establish themselves as a power couple.

Despite their breakup, Kardashian and West still take their responsibilities as co-parents very seriously. In February 2022, Kardashian told Vogue, “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through.”

On November 29, 2022, Kardashian and West’s divorce was officially finalized, and both parents consented to share joint legal and physical custody of their four children.

“Although Kim and Kanye share custody [of the kids], Kim is the primary caregiver,” a PEOPLE-informed source stated. “They both agreed that Kanye should keep any issues to himself and talk to Kim privately instead of bringing them up in public. She desires the children’s safety. Kim anticipates that going forward, co-parenting will be a little simpler.”

The creator of SKIMS discussed her desire to not have any more children with her mother, Kris Jenner, on a June 2023 episode of The Kardashians. Kardashian said, “I think I’m done,” adding that having four children is “a lot.”
