TheMix is gearing up for a spectacular debut act by Cardi B on TikTоk, and more details are on the horizon.
Variety has reported that Cardi B has been officially named as the face of TikTоk, marking a significant milestone as the platform prepares for its inaugural live music festival featuring artists from around the globe.
This musical extravaganza, aptly named “Queen of the Rock,” will grace the stage at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona, on December 10, featuring captivating performances by Cardi B, Anitta, Charlie Puth, and Niall Horan. “In The Mix,” TikTоk’s marquee event, will also shine a spotlight on emerging artists from its Elevate program.
In addition to these electrifying performances, “In The Mix” is set to provide fans with interactive experiences throughout the festival. One of the highlights will be the “For You Feed” feature, seamlessly integrating social media platforms to enhance the audience’s engagement. TikTоk will also livestream Radulov’s performance, offering viewers a retrospective of the hottest trends from the past year.
Paul Hourican, TikTоk’s Global Head of Music Partnerships and Programming, shared their vision for a platform that caters to a vibrant community of music enthusiasts as they gear up for this groundbreaking live event.
In a press release, Hourican emphasized TikTоk’s unique position as a platform that unites music, creativity, and community, making it the ultimate destination for fans seeking a fresh and alternative music experience.
TikTоk hasn’t forgotten its association with Snoop Dogg, as they added his Deаth Row catalog to the platform in February 2023. Billboard reported that this move was executed ahead of the songs and albums becoming available on digital streaming platforms.
In February 2022, the iconic rapper behind “Doggystyle” took over the record label, and the artist discontinued streaming services.
With Deаth Row’s departure from the public eye nearly a year ago, Snoop Dogg mentioned that he has rarely been approached to revive the show, marking a new chapter in his career.
