Nicki Minaj delayed the release of album ‘Pink Friday 2’ to prepare for a big project for fans!
Barbz, get ready to mark your calendars for an even more exciting and eagerly anticipated event – the release of Nicki Minaj’s fifth studio album, “Pink Friday 2,” is now set to drop on December 8th, coinciding with the rapper’s 41st birthday!
Minaj didn’t just drop this update; she unleashed a flurry of thrilling announcements during a live Instagram session that left fans buzzing with excitement. On November 17th, she will unveil the pre-sale details and officially announce the “Pink Friday 2 Tour.” But that’s not all; brace yourselves for the release of two fragrances bearing the same name, available through JCPenney and Amazon.
Originally slated for release on October 20th, then rescheduled to November 17th, Minaj assured fans that this change had nothing to do with her longtime collaborator, Lil Wayne, who’s releasing a joint album with 2-Chainz on the same day. She made it clear that they would never intentionally overshadow each other’s release dates.
In her live stream, she passionately expressed, “The new album’s release date holds a special place in my heart and for the Barbz community.” The delay, she explained, was due to vinyl pressing issues, which won’t be resolved until the week of December 1st.
Nicki Minaj, a New York native, last treated us to an album in 2018 with “Queen.” Now, she’s bringing us a follow-up to her iconic 2010 debut, “Pink Friday.” In her own words, “This entire album is the grandest gift I’ve ever given to humanity thus far.” Get ready for a birthday bash like no other!
