“That’s not me” Lil Wayne denied his image when he saw his wax statue

Lil Wayne had quite a comical response upon encountering a wax figure modeled after him.

The world-renowned rapper, instead of acknowledging the striking resemblance between himself and the wax creation at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, shared his unfiltered thoughts on social media.

“Sorry wax museum, but that s**t ain’t me! You tried though, and I appreciate the effort,” Lil Wayne posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 23.

Nоtably, Lil Wayne’s reactiоn came mоnths after the wax figure’s initial debut in 2022. Hоwever, a TikTоk videо that shоwcased the wax figure resurfaced during the summer, quickly gaining views.

In the video, the original poster approaches Lil Wayne’s wax figurine within the museum, with the caption reading: “Lil Wayne?!? Look like Lil Cane,” as shared by @cunseedid. The video has now amassed over 189,000 views and attracted more than 300 comments.

Some commenters humorously noted that the museum had the right idea but missed the mark with the outcome. Others questioned whether Lil Wayne had approved of the depiction, expressing doubt.

This amusing incident with Lil Wayne is not the only recent instance of a celebrity commenting on their wax figure. Dwayne Johnson, also known as “The Rock,” admitted to contacting the Grévin Museum in Paris concerning his wax figure, which was unveiled on October 16.

Following a humorous remark by comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr about the figure’s lighter skin tone compared to the real Dwayne Johnson, the actor shared Jefferson Jr’s video to reaffirm his sentiments. He playfully noted that his team would reach out to the museum in Paris to “update” his wax figure with accurate details and improvements, starting with his skin color.

Johnson added, “And next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop in and have a drink with myself.”

In response, the Grévin Museum issued an apology, acknowledging the mistake and pledging to quickly make the necessary corrections to the wax figure. They also extended an invitation for Dwayne Johnson to visit and celebrate with a glass of champagne once the adjustments were complete.
