Despite Rick Ross’s newfound popularity with flashy automobiles, the rapper has made it obvious on social media that he is just as happy to take to the air in a private jet.
The Boss flaunted his new black and gold 18-seater plane emblazoned with his name and brand on Instagram. Maybach Airlines was the name he came up with after thanking Duncan Aviation for the gift. As a comment, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson sent a clap and a whiskey toast emoji. Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, commented “Boss Sh**!!!” with fire emojis.
According to TMZ, the rapper was spotted dancing on a tarmac while promising his fans that, with hard work, they, too, could have a life like his. Ross took pictures of the plane’s plush interior, including details like the automatic folding table and the button-operated blinds.
The man who parachuted onto Rick Ross’s property during the rapper’s recent auto show says the risky action nearly cost him his life. Kris Jeter informed WSBTV that he came up with the idea for the aerial entry the day of the show.
Jeter, a resident of South Carolina, traveled to a field in Fayetteville, Georgia, roughly a mile away from the rapper’s Promise Land home. A 25 mph wind gust suddenly ruined his carefully laid plans by blowing him dangerously near to some trees. “As soon as I got turned around by the wind, I had to fight my way to turn back around,” he said to the radio station. No one ever bothered to train me. So, I figured out some stuff by watching videos on YouTube and winging it from there.
As soon as he arrived at the rapper’s mansion, he was escorted away by security. According to Jeter, the response was simply, “Well you can’t land here.” Ross, according to his lawyer who spoke to the station, thinks Jeter’s antics are “hilarious” and wants to meet with him.
In his own words, “I was pretty lucky to make it to Rick Ross’s house,” Jeter admitted. The flight was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.
