LeBron and Bronny James join Drake onstage at the start of his L.A. show, less than a month after LeBron’s brother had a cardiac attack at USC

On Monday night in Los Angeles, Drake’s concert kicked off with a surprise appearance from LeBron James and his son Bronny, another encouraging indicator of the 18-year-old’s remarkable recovery after his tragic cardiac arrest in July.

James and his son, a student athlete at the University of Southern California, accompanied Drake onstage at the Crypto.com Arena.

As expected, the triumvirate was greeted with thunderous applause.

Not only because it’s Drake’s concert, but also because… James has been the Lakers’ main player for the past five seasons at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Fans of LeBron James’s kid Bronny, who experienced a heart arrest on July 24, saw this as encouraging news.

LeBron and his basketball prospect brother Bronny were recently photographed at the world-famous Mayo Clinic.

Even though Bronny’s future as a basketball player is less certain, his friend and another son of an NBA star, Shareef O’Neal, recently spoke to TMZ about Bronny’s situation.

“He’s good,” said O’Neal, who himself overcame heart difficulties as a student at UCLA before completing his degree and playing in the G-League.
